Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is a yearly event for ages four through incoming 6th grade, held each summer.

This week long experience teaches Bible stories and concepts though crafts and hands on experiments, games, mission projects, Bible stories, and worship times.

Ministry Safe

SUMC adopted a Safe Sanctuaries Policy in 2011, and transitioned to a Ministry Safe policy in 2015. The purpose of this policy is to make our church a safe place for children to be, and for members and visitors to feel that children are safe when they are left in their Sunday School classes, nurseries, or at other events.

This policy serves to protect and inform volunteers who work with Children, Youth, and Vulnerable Adults.

This policy serves as a minimum standard to be upheld by staff and volunteers for all ministries and activities at SUMC. The Central Texas Conference requires that we provide adequate adult supervision at District and Conference Events and Ministries attended by Children, Youth, and Vulnerable Adults.
