The next General Conference of the United Methodist Church will be April 23 to May 3, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Join Pastor Tommy on

Tuesday, April 23 at 11 A.M. in the YAC

or

Sunday, April 28 following 11:00 A.M. Worship in the Chapel

for a Q&A session regarding the upcoming General Conference.

The Central Texas Conference depends on both clergy and lay leadership to energize and equip local churches to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The conference nominations and leadership development team seeks to identify and deploy servant leaders to participate in various teams and committees on both the district and conference levels.

If you would like to be considered for placement on a district or conference team, please fill out a leadership interest form. We also encourage you to think of other people in your church who may be interested in serving and forward them this email. Encourage them to fill out the form. While completing the form does not guarantee a position, each person will be prayerfully considered.

If you would like to know more about existing teams or committees, we encourage you to browse through the set of descriptions. For a complete listing, read through section B of the Central Texas Conference Journal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for helping to provide the leadership our shared mission requires.

In Christ,

Dr. Kevin Walters

Director for Operations & Project Management

Central Texas Conference Service Center
