Salado UMC Reopening Information

The video below will give you an idea of what you can expect when we return to in-person worship. Please note, a return date is still to be determined.

Reopening Update Statements

Salado UMC leaders met and due to the increase of Covid-19 cases in Texas and
Bell County have decided to suspend any attempt for in-person worship at this time.

Leaders will continue to reevaluate and make determinations in the future.

We will be sending out an informational video next week to give everybody

a glimpse of what in-person worship will look like when we return.

Dear Friends,

Dr. Mosser and staff have been diligently working to prepare for the return to in-person worship – a return date still to be determined. We continue to evaluate the situation weekly and we will decide in conjunction with conference guidance what is best for the safety of our congregation.

Our online worship options will still be available. All Sunday School classes and other small groups will continue in their current online formats.

We have been and continue to deep clean the worship center for the safety of our congregants. We are obtaining sanitizing supplies as they become available to ensure we have enough on hand to provide a safe environment.  Our goal is to provide you with a clean, safe worship experience upon your return.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines, you can expect to see the following health protocols in place:

  • Encourage social distance (to include reduced worship seating)
  • Hand Hygiene (hand sanitizer will be available)
  • Encourage all attendees to wear a mask (masks will be available)
